OSPORTS/Osborn Engineering are working alongside The Sports Facilities Companies (SFC) and Park & Eleazer Construction to renovate an existing 40 acre youth park for the City of Pinellas Park. IDG is providing landscape, hardscape, and irrigation design, as well as site furnishing selection.

 

The project will entail the demolition of existing ball fields, support buildings, and landscaping elements in preparation for a new destination youth sports park and tournament center. The proposed site plan includes the construction of 6 little league sized fields, concession stands, an outdoor bar, maintenance buildings and parking lots.

 

Additionally, a community plaza will offer space for gatherings and events. The proposed fields will include synthetic turf surfacing systems and field dimensions designed to mimic various ballparks across Major League Baseball and local spring training facilities. The project is expected to significantly boost the local economy by drawing visitors and fostering community engagement.
