OSPORTS led the design of the Warrensville Heights Athletic Complex, meeting the community’s demand for a comprehensive sports hub by replacing the existing stadium and ball fields and also adding a small fieldhouse and storage facility. The project included a football stadium seating 1,700 (1,200 on the Home side and 500 on Away), a baseball field, and two softball fields. Demolishing an existing structure and managing excess topsoil were key challenges that shaped the site’s layout.

 

Innovative solutions were implemented, such as integrating drainage beneath synthetic turf to manage stormwater. The football stadium boasts high-quality field turf, wireless scoreboards, and advanced sound systems, enhancing the sports environment for student athletes and fans alike.

 

The new Athletics Complex has created a welcoming atmosphere for Warrensville Heights’ games with flexible seating arrangements. Illuminated walkways and a storage building by the football field added accessibility and streamlined operations.

 

Despite logistical hurdles and COVID-19 impacts, OSPORTS collaborated to bring the district’s vision to life. The result is an energized campus, fostering excitement among students and receiving widespread acclaim for its design and functionality.
