The Esports Arena at Forge 417 will be a unique facility as it will be nested in a historic building originally constructed in 1872. The design will focus on restoring the building to its era of significance while inserting the new modern program for esports tournament play, gaming hub, media center with podcasting studios, and innovation suites for commercial use. Specific to the mission, Forge 417 will be focused on STEM education and serve as a hub for regional and state-wide tournament play for high schools and universities. The new esports program will be complimented with new food and beverage venues creating a new hub for entertainment in the historic district.
